-I’ll collaborate with you, your builder, subcontractors, interior, kitchen and lighting designers. I’m happy to work with any and all for the success for your project. Designers should be able to react to reality and common sense building techniques and still deliver an efficient and comfortable space.

-No pressure, no designer ego, no judgement of your taste or lifestyle. My goal for your project is to make it your project. Nothing about your home should be about me or my personal design opinions.

-My focus is to design attractive, comfortable spaces that fit people’s lives and tastes, but also within the constraints of common sense and efficient use of your space and resources.

-I know my limits. My strengths aren't in picking the colors for your home. But I’m happy to coordinate with interior designers in any way they need.

-While interior design isn't my role, I have the knowledge, experience and awareness of how a house’s style should be reflected in the interior planning and layout, but shouldn’t restrict it.

-I’m not a structural engineer, but I took four years of structural classes for my degree. I know residential construction. I know how and where to avoid design decisions that can become expensive structural requirements later.

-When structure is considered early in design, most engineering can be kept simple enough to be included as part of lumber package from the lumberyard.

-Should engineering be needed, I have contacts with great experience and reasonable rates. Builders are a great resource here also.

-Hassle free coordination with any subcontractors on your project and for any permitting purposes.
